Script- Coursework Prep

As we haven't got much dialogue in our 2 minute opening, a script in our eyes wasn't vital, but we felt we needed one in the shots and positions, so we didn't just film without a plan.

Pan up of Emma's House
To then pan down to Oscars house. 

Shot of Toby in double bed asleep,Mid shot showing bed, him and phone which will be in next shot of him.

Shot of Zoe in a single bed also asleep, make it look messy, dark and dull-  Mid shot of Zoe and bed. 

Same shot type as before of Toby, this time he is getting up and putting his glasses on, and turning off the alarm of phone.

As Toby swipes his 'expense' phone alarm off, the shot is a close up on it. 

Extreme close up of Zoe's eyes mainly as she gets woken up, most of shot is her eyes closed and then suddenly open


Mother (we will get an adult with a strong loud voice to shout this) "GET UP YOU LAZY SOD AND SORT YOUR BROTHER OUT!"

Toby then gets out of bed and sits there as he has time to relax because he has no chores to be getting on with. Shot shows more of the room, mid-long shot. 

Switches to Zoe who has to hurry and get out of bed and ready, walks out of mid shot to show more of room and emphasizes her rush, shot remains on bed. 

Toby opens curtains in mid shot.

Zoe opens curtains in mid shot. 

Long shot of most of his bedroom as Toby walks past in top and pants, shot slightly follows his movement. 

Close up of Zoe's bottom half as she sits of bed pulling up her tights. 

Mid Shot of Toby's bottom half standing putting on his trousers

Close up of Zoe putting on skirt, this will be a short 1-2 seconds  as its nor important. 

Toby puts on shirt in mid shot, of his facing the camera.

Zoe puts on shirt but the shot is from the back.

Slow pan of following Toby's fingers as he buttons up his shirt. 

Slow pan of Zoe doing up her shirt too.

Low mid shot focusing on Toby's legs as he walks out of room to go down the stairs, a slight pan following him. 

Long shot of Zoe walking out of room , towards camera and out of shot. 

Mid shot of the stairs and Toby walks down them.

Shot of the hallway as Toby exits the stairs and walks down the hall, still no upper body shot. 

Shot of Zoe's legs as she walks down the stairs, she is dressed in her uniform. 

Pan of work surface in the kitchen, showing wealth, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, Toby will then push the toaster down as it stops.

Pan of work surface in Zoe's kitchen, broken bottles, glasses can, showing mess. 

Cut to Toby eating toast at breakfast table- the shot will be face on as someone sitting opposite him  

Zoe walks in to her kitchen, pan to follow her to show full kitchen shot. 

In same shot Zoe looks in cupboards for food but there isn't anything to eat.

Wide shot of kitchen as Toby's bag is on surface , he walks past and picks it up. 

Shot focusing on the bag, Zoe walks past picks it up and opens door. 

Front on view of front door, Toby walks up and opens turns back and shouts

Toby- Bye Mum"

Mother- "Bye sweetheart, have a great day!"

Close up of door handle as Zoe opens it and the shot finishes as she shuts it.
